I discovered a love for working with wood at a young age. From whittling and doing green-woodworking at Forest School to attending workshops where I could experiment with lathe work and precise carpentry, I love the versatility of wood in all it’s forms.
Having completed a bench joiner apprenticeship I now enjoy working for a local bespoke joinery and spending time at home in my own workshop practicing techniques and creating beautiful items.
My turning work includes bowls, chopsticks, finials and posts. Not everything goes to plan with woodturning but it’s always fun to try!
Away from the lathe I enjoy more intricate woodworking such as box making using dovetail joints, making picture frames and refining smaller items. In time I hope to progress onto making larger items of furniture.
Check out my Gallery to see a range of items that I have produced so far.
